Privacy
VisitorSign is an iPad app made by DevByOne. This page explains what the app stores and where.
What the app collects
The app stores the answers visitors give on your sign-in form (for example name, email, who they are visiting and any custom questions you add), sign-in and sign-out times, and a visitor photo if your form includes a photo step.
Where it is stored
- On the iPad running VisitorSign, inside the app's private storage, with automatic daily backups on the same iPad.
- If you turn on iCloud sync, in your own private iCloud database. Only your Apple ID can access it.
DevByOne does not run servers that receive visitor data, and the app contains no advertising or third-party analytics.
Who can see it
Visitor history and settings sit behind the admin password, Face ID or the iPad passcode. The public sign-out and quick sign-in screens show no names until a visitor types their own, and then only a first name and last initial.
Keeping and deleting data
You control the data on your iPad and in your iCloud. Deleting the app removes the data stored on the iPad; data synced to iCloud can be managed from your iCloud settings.
